Summary:
We're looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of strategic digital programs that drive measurable business growth. This role combines platform expertise with strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and performance optimization. You will shape our digital marketing roadmap, align campaigns to pipeline goals, and champion innovation across channels. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong executional discipline, comfortable managing complexity and driving collaboration across Sales, RevOps, and IT.
Responsibilities:
Email Marketing Program Building and Optimization • Design, build, and optimize email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, content strategy, A/B testing, and personalization. • Develop and maintain high-performing email templates and automated workflows to drive engagement and conversions. • Monitor deliverability, inbox placement, and compliance, proactively addressing issues related to IP/domain health and list hygiene. • Serve as day to day administrator of our MAP: user management, governance, integrations, configurations, and QA. • Analyze campaign performance, report on key metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions), and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.
Segmentation, Data Quality & Governance • Lead segmentation strategy, including persona- and account based audience builds using intent, firmographic, and behavioral signals. • Own data stewardship: standards, validation rules, enrichment, de duplication, normalization, and field governance across MAP and Salesforce. • Establish and enforce data governance policies (GDPR/CCPA/CASL), consent management, and documentation.
Lead Gen, Lifecycle & Sales Partnership • Design and optimize lead capture (forms, progressive profiling, UTM governance) and integrate lead routing with our CRM with clear SLAs and alerts. • Implement and iterate lead scoring and lifecycle stages in partnership with Sales/RevOps. • Drive cross functional rhythm to align campaigns to pipeline goals.
Qualifications:
Must have • 5-8+ years in Marketing Operations/Digital Marketing, including hands on MAP administration (HubSpot and/or Eloqua). • Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC): campaign setup, reporting/dashboards, lead routing, and opportunity influence. • Demonstrated data stewardship: cleansing, normalization, enrichment, de duplication, and governance practices. • Strong analytics skills: defining KPIs, building dashboards, and translating insights into tests and improvements. • Project management discipline and ability to operate in a small, high ownership team-comfort shifting between strategy and execution. • Excellent cross functional communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to have • Experience migrating or consolidating MAPs and integrating with web/paid media, webinar tools, and routing/enrichment vendors. • Exposure to GA4 (or similar analytics) and BI tools (e.g., Looker Studio/Power BI).

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene
Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.
Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech
- Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
- Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
- Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
- Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
- Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
- Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
