The Opportunity

As a Digital Marketing Manager at Tixr, you'll join our collaborative, high-growth team shaping the future of live event technology. Reporting to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and Head of Sales Strategy, you'll serve as a resident marketing strategist for our clients, focusing on advanced analytics implementation, conversion optimization, and data-driven marketing strategies. You'll educate clients on our best-in-breed marketing tools and modern strategies while providing hands-on technical expertise to help them enhance fan engagement, boost ticket sales and optimize marketing spend, in addition to supporting our larger marketing initiatives.

This contract-to-hire position offers exceptional growth potential with the opportunity to transition to a full-time role for top performers. You'll work at the intersection of data, technology, and marketing while gaining valuable experience with cutting-edge digital tools, live event marketing strategies, and cross-functional teams that drive real impact for clients and our business.
This is a full-time (40 hours/week) contract position with an immediate start date. The initial contract will run for 3 to 6 months, with the potential to convert to a permanent role based on performance and business needs. We’re looking for someone ready to jump in and make an immediate impact.


What You'll Support and Own

  • Advanced Analytics & Tracking: Implement, troubleshoot, and optimize complex tracking setups including GA4, conversion pixels, and conversion tracking across multiple platforms and client accounts
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Pull, interpret, and visualize data from multiple sources (e.g. GA4, advertising platforms, etc.) to create comprehensive reports and actionable insights for internal teams and clients
  • Client Support Excellence: Serve as a technical marketing resource for client-facing teams, providing expert guidance on digital marketing focus areas
  • Campaign Optimization: Support testing initiatives, conversion rate optimization projects, and performance marketing efforts to improve ROI and user engagement
  • Documentation & Training: Create and maintain technical documentation, best practice guides, and training materials to build digital marketing fluency across the organization
  • Technology Integration: Evaluate, implement, and manage martech stack inclusive of CDPs, attribution tools, and advanced analytics platforms
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Client Success, Partnerships, and Product teams to integrate marketing insights into client strategies and product development


Core Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level support on complex marketing technical inquiries from clients and internal teams
  • Design and implement sophisticated tracking and measurement frameworks for multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis of campaign performance, user behavior, and conversion funnels to identify optimization opportunities
  • Troubleshoot advanced issues with tracking pixels, server-side tracking, attribution modeling, and third party integrations
  • Support the development of client digital marketing campaigns across email, social, search, and display channels
  • Stay current on emerging marketing technologies, privacy regulations, and industry best practices
  • Assist in the evaluation and onboarding of new marketing technology vendors and tools
  • Support sales and partnership teams with technical marketing expertise


Required Qualifications

  • 3-4+ years of professional experience in digital marketing with a focus on analytics, tracking, and technical implementation
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Analytics 4 and web analytics platforms. Bonus points for expertise in Looker Studio.
  • Strong experience with tracking pixel implementation, conversion tracking, and attribution modeling across multiple advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and marketing automation tools
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and advanced Excel/Google Sheets functions
  • Experience with HTML, basic JavaScript, and understanding of how tracking codes function
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Analytics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to work hybrid schedule with regular presence in Santa Monica office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in live events, entertainment, or related eCommerce industries
  • Expertise in server-side tracking and advanced measurement solutions
  • Knowledge of HTML/SQL and experience in working with large datasets
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, etc.)
  • Understanding of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on digital marketing
  • Certification in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or other relevant platforms
  • Previous client-facing or consulting experience


Work-Life

This hybrid role is based in Santa Monica, CA, where our vibrant headquarters serves as the creative hub for our global operations. While we offer flexibility, we highly value in-person collaboration and expect regular office presence to ensure effective team integration and client support. We encourage a schedule that balances remote work flexibility with meaningful in-person collaboration, typically 2-3 days per week in office depending on business needs and project requirements.

The compensation range for this role is:

$5,500 - $7,500 USD per month DOE (Santa Monica - United States)
