Crunchyroll is looking for a strategic professional to help help grow a newly launched product.
You will be tasked with identifying global growth opportunities for Crunchyroll's Digital Manga product. You will work with the Director of Digital Manga, along with other partners, to create a roadmap, budget, and help implement approved plans.
- Act as the operational and strategic owner to stakeholders and partners. These include Product & Engineering, Legal, Content Acquisitions, Business & Operations, Programming, Marketing, and external partners. Your goal is to ensure that roadmaps are created, milestones established, and communicated cross-team.
- Identify gaps in current processes and improve workflows with localization, programming, curation, and other operational supporting teams and partners.
- Lead the development of executive-ready deliverables (dashboards, trackers, presentations, project plans), ensuring clarity, structure, and visual polish in every output.
- Introduce global workflows in regions to further integrate regional teams into the global organization.
- Manage partner relationship, operations, and project budget to help expand the manga business.
This role works a hybrid schedule, with three days each week onsite in Los Angelas or San Fransisco.

- 8+ years of experience in go-to-market planning, global strategy, or a related area, within a subscription-based business, entertainment, publishing, or streaming media technology.
- Experience identifying opportunities for improvement, taking ownership of work, and contributing to team goals while aligning with shared priorities.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally, collaborating with product, analytics, and other teams to combine insights, analyze markets, and support the direction and growth of initiatives.
- Experience translating broad or ambiguous requests into clear, relevant next steps and organized workstreams.
- Proven ability to manage timelines, track work, and deliverables in a structured and reliable way.
- Experience working in global and distributed environments, collaborating effectively with colleagues across time zones, regions, cultures, and backgrounds.
- Experience contributing to a team-oriented environment and providing thoughtful, reliable support to peers and leaders.

Both domestic and ever-expanding international efforts fuel Crunchyroll's global expansion. The GTM & Planning team works with US-based leadership and regional teams to develop go-to-market and partnership marketing plans and programs. These plans and programs aim to expand Crunchyroll's growth through its O&O presence and high-profile third-party distribution partners. By doing so, the team delights and super-serves anime fans, boosting its footprint and brand awareness. The goal is to make Crunchyroll synonymous with anime worldwide.
