This role is a key link between product vision and execution, helping us connect the dots across touchpoints and empower users to achieve their goals through cohesive, intuitive digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Backlog Ownership & Delivery Execution
- Own and manage a prioritized backlog aligned to UPE vision and measurable user and business outcomes.
- Write user stories that reflect real user needs, informed by research and designed for cross-product consistency – with rich context and clear acceptance criteria; ensure they’re sprint-ready.
- Define success metrics and partner with UX, data, and engineering to measure impact over time.
- Guide iterative delivery while anticipating dependencies, ensuring design intent is maintained throughout implementation – balancing user needs, technical feasibility, and long-term maintainability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Facilitation
- Serve as the connective tissue across teams—working horizontally across platforms to ensure experiences feel seamless and integrated.
- Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and agile scrum team ceremonies with confidence and clarity.
- Partner deeply with Product Design and Research to validate assumptions, shape user experiences, and advance roadmap goals.
- Represent the voice of the customer, using qualitative and quantitative insights to guide prioritization.
- Advocate for mobile-first thinking and responsive design considerations throughout planning and delivery.
Strategic Framing & Problem Ownership
- Help define and socialize UPE design principles and experience strategy to guide backlog prioritization and solutioning.
- Understand and articulate the “why” behind features – connecting sprint work to strategic themes and business impact.
- Frame problems clearly, identifying where current experiences break down across products or touchpoints.
- Use data and insights to identify opportunity areas and champion cohesive, outcome-oriented solutions.
- Raise risks, gaps, or misalignments early, and proactively offer options to move forward.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Maintain transparency around roadmap, priorities, and delivery progress – keeping stakeholders informed on progress, timelines, blockers, and decisions.
- Translate product, technical, and design complexity into simple language that can be actioned by a cross-functional team.
- Drive cross-team visibility and negotiate dependencies that impact delivery.
- Lead by example in setting a high bar for team engagement, execution quality, and delivery health.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in product ownership, digital product management, or digital experience strategy.
- Deep understanding of agile methodologies, iterative delivery, and user-centered design principles.
- Proven ability to work across multiple teams, systems, and products to align and deliver cohesive experiences.
- Experience working with UX research and design teams to translate insights into meaningful backlog decisions.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strategic thinker who thrives in ambiguity and can connect day-to-day work to larger experience outcomes.
- Experience with platform ecosystems, professional education, or membership-driven organizations is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. English proficiency required.
