Why We Need You:

PEMCO has an opportunity for a Digital Ecommerce Manager to join our community. The Digital Ecommerce Manager is a sales strategist and leader responsible for driving measurable and sustainable policy growth through PEMCO’s digital sales channel.  This role focuses on converting online prospects into bound policies, optimizing the prospective customer digital funnel, and leveraging data-driven strategies to maximize quote-to-bind performance.  Beyond digital, the position influences and supports growth across the direct channel and other channels as appropriate.  Collaborating cross-functionally, the Digital Ecommerce Manager prioritizes initiatives that enhance digital engagement while ensuring every effort translates into tangible business outcomes and long-term revenue growth.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive ecommerce strategy to drive sustainable policy growth through PEMCO’s digital channels.

  • Champion an integrated, omni-channel experience where digital serves as the foundation and enabler for prospective customer touchpoints.

  • Envision and lead initiatives that ensure consistency and continuity across web, mobile, and agent-assisted interactions.

  • Own the full digital prospective customer journey - from initial quote request through policy binding.

  • Drive UI/UX improvements to deliver a frictionless, intuitive experience across all devices and platforms.

  • Ensure seamless integration between digital and non-digital channels to support customers transitioning between touchpoints.

  • Oversee PEMCO’s online quote and purchase platform, ensuring optimal performance, usability, and security.

  • Collaborate with IT, design teams, and internal stakeholders to align a shared roadmap to implement enhancements that improve the customer experience and support ecommerce growth and customer acquisition goals.

  • Monitor site analytics and conversion metrics to identify and act on opportunities for improvement.

  • Partner with Marketing to align ecommerce initiatives with paid media, SEO, GEO, and content strategies.

  • Implement A/B testing and personalization strategies to maximize engagement and conversion rates.

  • Track and report on ecommerce KPIs, including traffic, conversion rates, and customer acquisition cost.

  • Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns, improve ROI, and inform future omni-channel strategies.

  • Leverage industry research and consumer insights to identify opportunities for innovation in digital engagement.

  • Ensure all digital sales processes comply with state regulations and company standards.

  • Maintain data privacy and security protocols across the online quote and purchase platform

  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with PEMCO's policies, values, code of ethics, and business conduct.

What You'll Bring:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent work experience.

  • 6+ years in digital customer experience or ecommerce roles with increasing scope and complexity.

  • Progressive experience in strategy, marketing, digital technology, or related environments.

  • MS Office: Skilled proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required

  • Technical: Skilled in data analytics tools, ecommerce platforms, and customer experience technologies.

  • Customer-Centric: Strong focus on understanding and improving prospective customers’ journey.

  • Analytical: Ability to use data to diagnose issues, optimize conversion, and drive strategic priorities.

  • Collaborative: Interfaces effectively across teams with both technical depth and business acumen.

  • Organized & Strategic: Manages multiple projects while maintaining a long-term vision for digital growth.

  • Communication: Skilled presenter who can articulate insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.

 

Compensation:

The pay range for this role is shown below. Compensation decisions are determined based on an individual’s qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

  • Greater Seattle area target pay range: $127,971 - $156,409.  The full pay range is $106,643 - $177,738

  • Outside Greater Seattle area target pay range: $112,937 - $138,035. The full pay range is $94,115 - $156,857.

Greater Seattle Area is defined as working within approximately 100 miles of Seattle.

Outside Greater Seattle is defined as working approximately 100 miles or more from Seattle.

 

Benefits:

Regular part-time PEMCO employees working at least 24 hours per week and regular full-time PEMCO employees are eligible to elect coverage under medical, dental, and vision plans for themselves and their eligible family members with generous employer premium cost shares. In addition, as a benefits-eligible employee, you are:

  • covered by employer-paid basic life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance policies as well as long- and short-term disability benefit coverages.

  • eligible to participate in PEMCO’s 401(k) plan, which includes a generous employer match (2 for 1 on the first 6% employee pre-tax and/or Roth deferral, up to federal maximums). 

PEMCO provides the following paid leave programs for benefits-eligible employees in their first year of PEMCO employment:

  • Vacation accrues at a rate of 10 days for new hires and increases based on a schedule to a maximum annual accrual of 25 days based on tenure.

  • Granted four (4) personal days immediately upon hire.

  • Paid holidays for the eight (8) holidays observed by PEMCO throughout the calendar year.

  • Granted up to ten (10) days of sick leave immediately upon hire (pro-rated based on hire date and full-time/part-time status), which is approximately 28 hours more per year than the Washington state-required accrual.

  • In addition, PEMCO provides paid time off for bereavement, jury duty, and employee volunteering in the community.

Other miscellaneous benefit programs offered by PEMCO include:

Other compensation, depending on role, contributions, and performance, may include:

  • Discretionary bonuses.

  • Tiered sales commissions and/or incentives (from 5-25% of employee’s monthly sales).

  • Shift differential pay.
