LA (Lindeman & Associates) launched in 2015 and quickly established itself as a leader in the entertainment advertising space, winning Clio’s Agency of the Year in 2017. LA brings together artists, editors, and storytellers into one hyper-collaborative team specializing in crafting iconic 360º campaigns. Our work grows audiences, sparks conversations, builds brands, and shapes culture. Though we hail from around the country—and the world—Los Angeles is our creative home and our muse.
LA is seeking an experienced Digital Designer to join our Brand Design team under a contract expected to run up to 12 months, with the potential for early completion or conversion to full-time based on project needs and performance.
The ideal candidate has a passion for visual storytelling and a strong understanding of digital design systems and user experience. This role will own the end-to-end creation of landing pages, emails, and digital experiences—from concept through production—collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver work that is both visually striking and strategically effective. This is a hybrid position with an in-office presence required Tuesday through Thursday.
What You’ll Bring:
  • At least 4 years of professional design experience, ideally in a fast-paced agency or consumer brand environment.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional layout, typography, and image-creation skills.
  • Proficiency in Figma, including wireframing, prototyping, and component-based design systems.
  • Expertise in Photoshop and the Adobe Creative Suite; motion design experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI and Accessibility principles; familiarity with HTML/CSS preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining precision and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in articulating and advocating design decisions.
  • Experience building presentations in Apple Keynote (preferred, not required).
  • A collaborative, proactive mindset and strong work ethic.

The Pay:
The hourly compensation range for this position is $50–$75/hr. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, location, prior experience, and education.
This is a hybrid contract role, expected to run up to 12 months, with the potential for early completion or conversion to full-time based on project needs and performance.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a person to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified applicants and employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Extended periods of desk work: The role involves long stretches of design and production work.
  • Communication: Frequent verbal and written exchanges during meetings, reviews, and presentations.
  • Presentation activities: May involve standing and presenting designs to internal teams or clients.
  • Visual acuity: Exceptional attention to visual detail is essential for this role. The ability to distinguish color values, saturation, brightness, and contrast is critical to ensure visual consistency, brand accuracy, and accessibility compliance across all digital assets.
  • Technology use: Regular use of design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Keynote) and project management tools.
  • Multitasking: Managing multiple design projects and deadlines with efficiency and focus.

LA is dedicated to providing access, equal opportunity, and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities in employment, its services, programs, and activities. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
