THE HIGH LEVEL

Iron Bow Technologies is looking for a Digital Commerce Analyst/Administrator to be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) environments. This Analyst will be the expert on managing various aspects of the platform, including configuration, customization, deployment, and troubleshooting, while ensuring the platform integrates seamlessly with other systems to provide an exceptional digital commerce experience.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING 

  • Administration
    • Manage and administer Salesforce Commerce Cloud environments, including production and sandbox instances.
    • Configure and optimize site features, functionalities, and workflows.
    • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve platform-related problems in a timely manner.
    • Ensure data integrity and security by managing user permissions, roles, and data sharing rules.
    • Identify opportunities for enhancing system performance, improving efficiency, and driving automation within the platform.
    • Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce Commerce Cloud features and best practices to recommend and implement improvements.
  • Customization and Integration
    • Work with development teams to customize and extend Salesforce Commerce Cloud functionality using scripting (e.g., ISML, JavaScript) and APIs.
    • Implement and manage third-party integrations (e.g., payment gateways, CRM systems, inventory management systems).
    • Engage with development to design, develop and implement custom features and functionalities on the platform.
  • Release and Deployment Management
    • Lead the planning, testing, and deployment of new features and updates in the Commerce Cloud environment.
    • Coordinate the migration of changes from sandbox to staging and production environments.
    • Conduct regression and performance testing after deployments.
  • Support and Troubleshooting
    • Provide ongoing support for issues related to Salesforce Commerce Cloud, including debugging and resolving errors.
    • Collaborate with development and business teams to identify and solve operational challenges or business requirements.
    • Monitor system alerts and logs to proactively identify potential issues and mitigate them.
  • User Training & Documentation
    • Create and maintain documentation related to platform configuration, best practices, and troubleshooting guides.
    • Train end-users and internal stakeholders on Salesforce Commerce Cloud functionalities and new features.
    • Provide support to teams in troubleshooting user-facing issues within the platform.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • 8-10 years administration and development experience
  • Proven experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud administration and development.
  • Strong knowledge of Commerce Cloud B2B implementations. (Salesforce Commerce Cloud Certifications preferred)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as ISML, JavaScript, and JSON.
  • Experience with Salesforce platform integrations, including APIs and web services (REST/SOAP).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket) and continuous integration tools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of e-commerce best practices and UI/UX design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence) is a plus.
