Digital Analyst II, Costa Mesa, CA

Responsibilities: 

  • The Digital Analyst II is an integral part of the team tasked with monitoring and analyzing critical business metrics and presenting data-backed recommendations on opportunities for optimization and revenue generation.
  • This role is highly collaborative and thrives on agile, cross-departmental support.
  • Monitoring core metrics and providing analysis, reporting, and insights that inform our eCommerce business and digital marketing strategies for both Ultra Mobile and Mint Mobile.
  • Manages the analysis and interpretation of test results from our conversion rate optimization (CRO) program, effectively translating this data into reports that are meaningful to any audience.
  • Refining and expanding visibility into acquisition performance, segmenting the data by key audiences and channels to effectively surface opportunities for growth.
  • Leveraging and combining data from all available analytics sources to develop global dashboards and reports that provide a comprehensive view of our digital acquisition performance. Performing digital conversion funnel analysis to identify areas for optimization.
  • Partnering with stakeholders in Brand Marketing and Media to analyze data from historical campaigns, measure the effectiveness of specific offer promotions, and provide projections for future promotion performance based on these findings.
  • Taking initiative and spearheading larger analytics requests that are at times undefined or subject to ambiguity due to their exploratory nature Communicating findings with senior leadership, creating ad hoc presentations and/or dashboards for presentations for larger projects
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: THIS POSITION REQUIRES A BACHELOR’S DEGREE (OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT) IN MARKETING, BUSINESS ANALYTICS, COMPUTER SCIENCE OR CLOSELY RELATED FIELD, PLUS 3 YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE IN MARKETING ANALYSIS OR CLOSELY RELATED OCCUPATION.

Special Requirements: 

REQUIRED SKILLS: EXPERTISE/KNOWLEDGE OF: 

  1. 3+ years of proven experience with site and product analytics tools
  2. 3+ years of hands-on with data visualization tools
  3. 3+ years of experience in organizing, analyzing, and presenting complex data, including the development of dashboards and reports to effectively communicate insights and support data-driven business decisions for stakeholders
  4. 3+ years of proven experience with SQL
  5. Understanding of how behavior on the web is tracked using Google Tag Manager and Teallium.
  6. Working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
  7. Experience with A/B Testing platforms.
  8. Experience creating Time Series and Regression Models.
