In this position...

Ford is looking for a Product Leader to drive a portfolio of innovative products and enhancements within the Digital Cabin space. This Product Leader will focus on building a new digital accessory product portfolio.

We're looking for someone who values collaboration with triad stakeholders, embraces proactive communication, and champions product management best practices. The ideal candidate will also be customer-obsessed, will have an ability to operate strategically and tactically, and work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines.

The Product Manager will be responsible for defining product strategy, the product roadmap, as well as planned enhancements. In addition, this Product Manager will be expected to conduct customer research and analysis, define new customer experiences, and coordinate a team of engineers, designers, and stakeholders to fulfill the vision for this space. This ideal candidate will also have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in an ambiguous and dynamic business environment.
 

Responsibilities

What you'll do...
+ Collaborate on multi-year product strategy for Ford Motor Company
+ Own the strategy for your product area, defining your vision, goals, and roadmap
+ Develop new product pitches and requirements, and translating into high quality product roadmaps
+ Engage directly with customers through interviews, surveys, and feedback channels to gather qualitative insights that continually refine and enhance the product.
+ Contribute to the business case for new features by analyzing market data and customer value to inform product positioning and strategy.
+ Coordinating a large diverse team of engineers, designers, and partner product teams to innovate new and enhance existing products to drive your vision.
+ Collaborate with Marketing, Business, Sales, and Communications teams to support the execution of cross-functional product launches, ensuring cohesive messaging and market readiness.
+ Managing a diverse roadmap and making tradeoff decisions between investments across multiple years
+ Analyzing data and performing sophisticated analytical exercises
+ Drive standardization, simplification, and automation of internal processes and product development mechanisms to increase throughput
+ Managing weekly, and monthly product/business reporting

Qualifications

*You'll have...**
+ Bachelor's degree required
+ 5+ years of product management experience
+ 2+ years of experience delivering features in an agile or scrum environment
+ 2+ years of experience writing user stories to participating in sprint planning and retrospectives
+ 2+ years of experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
+ 2+ years of experience with end-to-end product delivery

+ Ability to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
+ Ability to work independently and effectively across internal and external organizations
+ MBA or equivalent
+ Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
+ Excellent cross-group collaboration skills, ability to impact outcomes in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting to senior leadership
+ Excellent business judgment and demonstrated ability to think and act both strategically and tactically
+ Self-starter who is customer obsessed, detail-oriented, and an enthusiastic team player

This position is a leadership level 6 and ranges from $129,600- $240,000.

This position is posted as hybrid (onsite four days per week)  in Palo Alto, CA or Long Beach, CA.
