Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Diagnostic Radiologic Technologists (DRT, X-ray Technologist) to support operations at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System located at 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304. Services to be provided include the full range of DRT Imaging care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients to include call shift. Multiple shift schedules with on-call service are available.

**Full-time, Travel, and Per Diem candidates are considered for this position.**

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine to complex radiographic examination procedures. These examinations are achieved by using diagnostic x-ray equipment such as fluoroscopic units, the chest unit, and general diagnostic units. The major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Using diagnostic x-ray equipment such as fluoroscopic unit, the chest unit, and general diagnostic units

    • Preparing contrast materials under the direction of a radiologist in order to perform exams requiring injectable solutions such as IVP, cystogram, cholangiogram, fistulagrams, and arthrography

    • Performing oral and rectal exams using injectable solutions

    • Operating a fully digital x-ray system and highly technical digital and computerized radiographic equipment

    • Troubleshooting equipment used in diagnostic radiologic procedures and making minor repairs and/or adjustments

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Completion of a CHEA- and JCERT-accredited Technologist training program
  • ARRT(R) certification is required
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
  • A minimum of two (2) years of proven clinical experience in Diagnostic Imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting
  • Must have proven clinical work experience within the past 12 months
  • Prior VA experience is desirable
  • No sponsorship available 

Pay Range: $52.16 - $107.90 hourly
