Job Summary

GPLTech is seeking an experienced DevOps Project Manager to lead and coordinate our infrastructure and deployment initiatives across cloud and virtualized environments. This role combines technical expertise with project management skills to drive automation, scalability, and operational excellence across our development and production systems. 
Responsibilities

Program Management & Strategy 

- Lead cross-functional DevOps initiatives and manage complex infrastructure projects from conception to delivery 

- Develop and maintain project roadmaps, timelines, and resource allocation plans 

- Coordinate between development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration 

- Drive adoption of DevOps best practices and continuous improvement methodologies 

- Manage vendor relationships and technology partnerships 

 Technical Leadership 

- Oversee Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) implementations and optimizations 

- Guide cloud migration strategies and multi-cloud environment management 

- Ensure Linux system administration best practices across all environments 

- Champion infrastructure as code (IaC) and automated deployment pipelines 

- Lead incident response coordination and post-mortem analysis 

 Team Collaboration & Communication 

- Facilitate agile ceremonies and technical planning sessions 

- Provide regular stakeholder updates and executive reporting 

- Mentor team members on DevOps tools and methodologies 

- Collaborate with security teams to implement compliance and governance frameworks 

Qualifications & Skills

- 5+ years of program/project management experience in technical environments 

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices 

- Strong understanding of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies (Citrix, VMware Horizon, or similar) 

- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) 

- Proficiency in Linux system administration and scripting 

- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools 

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks 

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities 

 Preferred Qualifications 

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 

- PMP, Scrum Master, or similar project management certifications 

- Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, etc.) 

- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) 

- Background in enterprise security and compliance frameworks 

- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) 

- Knowledge of networking, load balancing, and distributed systems
