Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architecture, software development, security, and operations teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure DevOps solutions.
- Engineer the Internal Developer Platform
- Develop, implement, and socialize DevOps best practices.
- Develop and automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes to streamline software delivery and enhance system performance.
- Manage and optimize the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless integration and continuous delivery of software updates.
- Maintain DevOps tools to maintain vendor and security compliance.
- Support DevOps tools performance to meet agreed upon SLAs.
- Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect data, systems, and applications.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps, and proactively apply them to improve our development and deployment processes.
- Proactively address issues and pursue improvements.
- Document processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and support team members.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program. (Bachelors or Master's)
- Eager to learn, develop solutions and passion for customer service and team success.
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and hands on experience with relevant tools (GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Backstage.io, Terraform, Power Apps, Power Automate, Ansible, etc.).
- Scripting and automation skills (e.g., javascript, Node js, YML, Bash, Python, PowerShell) to streamline deployment and maintenance processes.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, Oracle Cloud, AWS including infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and security.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
