About the role

In this role, you’ll own the delivery of all Outsmart applications. As an early member of the engineering team you’ll play a critical role in setting the tone for Outsmart’s technical culture including setting standards for quality and scalability. You will lead CI/CD and Ops for Outsmart’s engineering team and will be expected to lead tooling decisions where necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own CI/CD for engineering
  • Govern and optimize Github
  • Define and own monitoring: ELK or equivalent
  • Establish and enforce Outsmart’s security posture
  • Act as administrator to all critical systems
  • Define and enforce version control paradigm for all environments and builds
  • Facilitate database migrations and ensure stability and scalability of Outsmart’s backend
  • Generalize to other technical functions when needed: SysAdmin, IT, QA, Fullstack

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in hands-on fullstack role
  • Deep and proven experience with CI/CD tooling and techniques
  • Experience enabling ML/MLOps teams
  • Experience enabling Mobile teams
  • Experience shipping mobile applications at scale
  • Proven track record of enabling telemetry and cost optimization
  • Defined and enforced security for mobile products
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment
