Job Summary:

We’re seeking a DevOps Systems Engineer to support our expanding infrastructure and development operations. This role is ideal for someone in the early stages of their DevOps career who is eager to learn, contribute to real-world systems, and grow within a collaborative engineering environment.
You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to help maintain and enhance our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and microservice deployments. It’s a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools and practices while making a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Build and maintain infrastructure for application development and deployment
  • Support CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance using tools like Jenkins and Bitbucket
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads
  • Contribute to automation efforts using Python and Terraform
  • Troubleshoot issues in microservice deployments (e.g., Kafka, MongoDB, Postgres)
  • Monitor system performance and assist in implementing improvements using tools like Prometheus or Datadog
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure secure and scalable system configurations
  • Participate in team discussions around infrastructure improvements and process optimization
  • Assist in resolving customer-facing technical issues with guidance from senior team members

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent practical experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering, or a related technical role
  • Exposure to Kubernetes, Kafka, MongoDB, or Postgres (experience with at least one is preferred)
  • Basic scripting skills in Python and familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with tools like Jenkins or Bitbucket
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) is a plus
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is beneficial
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Enthusiasm for learning, taking initiative, and growing professionally

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $86,000 – 90,000 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Candidates who exceed the specified experience and relevant education or training may be considered for compensation above the stated range. Please note that the compensation details listed reflect base salary, and certain positions may be offered additional variable incentives.
