Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with a dedicated focus on AWS, infrastructure as code (IaC), systems design, SaaS high-volume applications, security, and high availability. In this role, you will collaborate closely with development teams and other infrastructure professionals to design, implement, and maintain robust cloud solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain AWS-based cloud infrastructure to support high-volume SaaS applications in collaboration with development teams.
  • Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform to ensure scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand application requirements and provide scalable infrastructure solutions.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud-based systems.
  • Design and implement solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, and system resilience.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud infrastructure, proactively addressing issues and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or related experience.
  • Proven experience in designing and managing AWS-based cloud infrastructure.
  • Dedicated expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • In-depth understanding of systems design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with SaaS high-volume applications and associated challenges.
  • Solid knowledge of cloud security best practices and implementation.
  • Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery concepts.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, working effectively with development teams and other infrastructure professionals.
