Seeking DevOps Engineers with expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and backend technologies for automated deployment workflows in isolated environments.
The summary above was generated by AI
We are seeking:
  • DevOps Engineers with deep expertise across modern infrastructure technologies. Ideal candidates will have strong, hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration, Terraform for infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines (using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions) to automate deployment workflows. Experience setting up and managing environments in isolated or offline conditions is highly valued, as the project requires secure, standalone deployments without reliance on cloud connectivity.

  • Backend Software Engineers with extensive experience with backend technologies such as Go, Python, or Java, as well as frameworks and tools like Docker, gRPC, and Kubernetes-native services for building scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and experience integrating machine learning pipelines or large-scale data processing systems is a strong plus. While some exposure to frontend technologies can be beneficial.

We require:
  • Experience with software architecting, DevOps engineering, site reliability engineering, platform engineering, or cloud operations.

  • At least 3-5 years of full-time experience in a related field and a technical degree from an accredited university

  • Experience with at least 5 of the following technologies: Keycloak, GitLab CI, Kubernetes, Terraform OSS, Prometheus + Grafana, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Jaeger, MinIO, Postgresql, Redis, Kafka, IncidentFlow, Nginx, Kong, PagerDuty Prime, ClientPortal, Graph Databases, AWS, GCP, Azure

  • Experience with at least 5 of the following functional areas: Identity & Access Management, Source Code Management, Issue Tracking, CI/CD Pipelines, Container/Helm Registry, Container Orchestration, Secrets Management, Observability / Metrics & Monitoring, Logging, Distributed Tracing, Object Storage, Databases, Incident Management, Cost Management, API Gateways, Proxy Servers

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
