About this opportunity
Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions, Inc. seeks a Developer (Senior Software Development Engineer) in Santa Clara, CA; Hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance, who will serve to design and develop micro services in Python, and GoLang. Develop code, build CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and dashboards for monitoring the health of systems and data pipelines. Conduct design and code reviews for various systems being developed. Mentor junior and new team members. Work with cross functional teams such as product management and solutions testing teams to deliver network and security product features and operate them across solution pipelines. Hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance.
You will bring:
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field and 2 years of experience in software development in a cloud native environment.
2 years of experience in:
  1. Implementing modern cloud-native deployments
  2. Cloud-Native SaaS Development
  3. Containerization & Orchestration including AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
  4. Backend Programming & REST APIs including Golang or Python in Unix/Linux environments
  5. CI/CD & DevOps Practices including Jenkins or Gitlab CI
  6. Developing network orchestration and configuration management tools in Python language.
  7. Software development in Python or Go language
  8. IP Networking
  9. Cloud computing
  10. Network virtualization, automation, and configuration management.

Your Pay
The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
The salary range for this position is
  • Santa Clara: $191,000 - $250,950

Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
