About this opportunity
Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions, Inc. seeks a Developer (Senior DevOps Engineer) in Santa Clara, CA; Hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance, who will serve as integral member of the global DevOps team that automates and operates the global cloud data plane for our customers.
What you will do:
Architect features for automation towards service delivery, scalability, and reliability. Provide operational support including monitoring, diagnostics, and scheduled maintenance. Design, code, review, test, operationalize, support, and document software for automation and CI/CD functionality. Collaborate with multi-site global teams and provide on call support as needed. Serve as a technical lead and mentor for other members of the team. (No direct reports). Hybrid work policy w/in commuting distance.
You will bring:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and 6 years of experience in DevOps Engineering.
6 years of experience required in:
  1. Cloud expertise including AWS and GCP or OCI.
  2. Managing cloud environments, provisioning infrastructure, and optimizing workloads across multiple cloud providers.

5 years of experience required in:
  1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) including Terraform and Ansible
  2. Utilizing IaC to ensure consistent and automated infrastructure deployment.
  3. Using Terraform to provision cloud resources efficiently.
  4. Using Ansible to automate configuration management and system updates.
  5. Writing reusable Terraform modules and managing state files.
  6. Kubernetes & Containerization including Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.

4 years of experience required in:
  1. CI/CD Pipelines & Automation
  2. Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab Actions, CI/CD, or ArgoCD

Your Pay
The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
The salary range for this position is
  • Santa Clara, CA: $204,145 - 250,950.

Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions offers a 50% match of employee's contribution into the Registered Retirement Savings Plan, up to 6% of the employee's contribution (maximum of 4% match). Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.
Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 18 days of accrued vacation, 3-5 personal days (depending on role), 10 holidays, 1 volunteer day, and sick days. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 10 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
