Detailer Job Responsibilities

  • Wash, wax, polish, and detail new, used, and customer vehicles
  • Clean vehicle interiors including vacuuming, wiping surfaces, and treating upholstery
  • Perform final inspections to ensure vehicles meet dealership quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of detailing bays, equipment, and lot areas
  • Safely operate detailing tools and equipment
  • Follow all dealership procedures and safety guidelines
  • Work efficiently to meet daily production goals

Detailer Benefits & Compensation

The Automotive Detailer  position has a pay range of $18.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

Detailer Qualifications

  • Previous detailing or automotive experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong attention to detail with pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dependable, punctual, and self‑motivated
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
