We are seeking a skilled Desktop Engineer to join our CorpIT team. In this role, you will be responsible for fleet management, and providing top-quality support for desktop environments across our organization. You will ensure that our end users have a seamless experience with their devices and applications, focusing on reliability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for desktop and mobile systems including Windows 11, macOS, iOS, Android and various applications.
- Manage and deploy Intune for device and application management.
- Configure and maintain endpoint security policies using Microsoft Defender.
- Support and troubleshoot productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, Zoom, Box, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Assist with the deployment and management of specialized software including AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
- Manage service requests and incidents through Freshservice, ensuring timely resolution and excellent customer service.
- Perform software installations, updates, and patch management across desktop environments.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to implement and enforce IT policies and procedures.
- Train end users on best practices and new technologies.
- Document processes and maintain accurate records of desktop configurations and changes.
Key Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11, macOS, and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with Intune and security tools like Microsoft Defender.
- Familiarity with IT service management methodologies and tools such as Freshservice.
- Experience supporting collaboration tools including Box, Teams, Zoom, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Bluebeam is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Apple) are advantageous.
