The Role
Canvas Worldwide seeks a Desktop Engineer to join our Technology & Agency Services team (CTAS). We're looking for people who have a passion for technology and bring a progressive view to core services. The role has complete oversight of our endpoints – Windows, macOS, iOS, Android – and ownership of Active Directory/Group Policies. In addition, you will participate in technical architecture, design, and implementation efforts across an agency that embraces a cloud-first approach.
Responsibilities
· Architect and maintain physical and cloud-based desktop environments using Azure Intune, Microsoft 365, and Atera.
· Optimize performance and reliability of cloud-based collaboration tools including Teams, Exchange Online, and SharePoint.
· Work with
· Work with internal teams and MSP to plan and maintain our network infrastructure, AWS instances, and SAAS-based tools and integrations.
· Provide Tier 3 support for escalated issues across Windows, macOS and cloud-based tools.
· Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, and virtual desktop environments.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's preferred
· 5 years’ experience in a Windows support environment
· Familiarity with network and telecommunication technologies
· Familiarity with Microsoft, Google, and AWS Cloud computing
· Zendesk experience is a plus
Salary and Benefits
Actual base salary is determined upon factors such as experience, qualifications, training, certifications, and internal equity. The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Base salary is part of a total rewards package that includes highly competitive benefits like generous medical, dental, vision, pet insurance, commuter benefits, disability and life insurance coverage, 401(k) matching, up to 14 holidays per year, a “Do Good Day,” and unlimited PTO.
In-Office Work Schedule
This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2 days in-office per week.
