Job Description

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Designer to join our award-winning creative team with deep expertise across social – and beyond. This role will focus on a single client within our wide ranging portfolio - a leading social and tech disruptor- who specializes in streaming content.

You are a designer with a strong background in social media platforms who understands the effectiveness of simple design and has a motion-first approach. A typical day could consist of creating a beautiful static design, creating motion concepts, or cutting down footage. Your portfolio shows impeccable taste, a love for typography, and a motion-forward mindset that makes even your static work feel dynamic and alive. You’ve got a broad and growing skillset – and though you might not think of yourself as an editor, you can get your hands dirty in Premiere if a brief calls for it.

Your passion for social means you have extensive social platform expertise, as well as experience working within the confines of each platform. You have an obsessive attention to detail. You can work within a template, but know when and how to break it while staying within the design system.

This role is hybrid, within the Los Angeles, CA office. The salary range for this position is between $65,000-75,000 USD, annually.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional industry experience.

• Deep understanding of all social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok.

• Ability to develop develop a range of graphics within static, motion, and video formats

• A deep understanding of design software, specifically Figma and After Effects, but an understanding of other Adobe CC software as well

• Deep understanding of typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy; expertise in minimalist design.

• Experience in Google Drive, and an innate curiosity for problem solving in regard to helping optimize workflows.

• Obsessive Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and consistency in designs.

• Experience within creative / social media agencies is a must.
