The Role

As our first full-time designer, you will lead the design of intuitive, user-centric product interfaces, while also shaping our website, marketing, and sales assets. You will collaborate with engineers, drive improvements to our website and sales deck, and refine our product through user engagement and strategy. We need a versatile UX and graphic design generalist with strong product and business acumen.

What You’ll Do
  • Product design

    • Lead end-to-end product design for our product

    • Be a thought partner on product strategy, helping prioritize features and improve UX

    • Conduct user research and turn insights into actionable design improvements

    • Develop and maintain a consistent visual identity and design system across platforms

    • Collaborate with engineers to implement high-quality user interfaces

  • Marketing and sales design

    • Design and iterate on Realm’s website, marketing collateral, videos, sales decks, and event materials

    • Messaging and visual storytelling for external-facing content

    • Support BD and leadership with custom visuals for investor updates, customer proposals, and events

    • Create Realm-branded materials (pamphlets, swag, business cards, etc.)

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in product, UI/UX, or visual design (startup or high-growth environment preferred)

  • Strong portfolio showcasing both digital product and visual design work

  • Proficiency in Figma (or similar design tools), with an eye for detail and usability

  • Excellent visual storytelling and communication skills

  • Comfortable working independently and driving projects from concept to execution

  • Self-starter mindset; excited to build systems and standards from the ground up

  • Willing to travel to talk to customers

  • Based in North America

  • US citizen or permanent resident

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Experience designing for industrial, security, or enterprise software products

  • Front-end implementation skills (React, HTML, CSS)

  • Motion design or brand animation capabilities
