What Do We Do?

Triple Whale is the source of truth for eCommerce brands. Our platform centralizes the entire analytics stack—from profit tracking and customer insights to marketing attribution and creative intelligence. We empower brands with the visibility they need to make smarter decisions, scale faster, and optimize every dollar spent.

Why Triple Whale Needs You:

We’re looking for a talented Brand & Visual Designer who can bring our ideas to life across multiple surfaces — from web and social to print and product marketing. Someone with a keen eye, clean craft, and the ability to move fast without losing the magic. Our team moves quickly, collaborates tightly, and believes great design is not just how it looks but how it feels.

What You'll Do:
  • Design marketing assets across digital and print: landing pages, paid ads, social graphics, pitch decks, event collateral, internal docs, and more.
  • Extend and evolve our visual identity across platforms with a cohesive, elevated, brand-consistent eye.
  • Collaborate closely with creative and marketing leads to interpret strategy into visual storytelling.
  • Work within (and help expand) our design system, Figma libraries, and brand templates.
  • Take ownership of your projects from brief to execution, knowing when to move quickly and when to refine deeply.
  • You are curious, and committed to growth.
  • Keep quality high and turnarounds tight. Speed is part of your superpower.
  • This role reports to the creative lead
What You'll Bring:
  • 2+ years of professional design experience in brand, marketing, or visual design roles. (Agency or startup experience a plus.)
  • A strong portfolio that shows clean visual thinking, brand versatility, and systems level consistency.
  • Advanced Figma skills: you can design, prototype, and organize files.
  • A solid understanding of layout, typography, hierarchy, and storytelling across web and print.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
  • A team player mindset: you ask smart questions, take feedback like a champ, and bring ideas to the table.
  • (Bonus) Familiarity with AI startups, tech culture, or tools like Webflow, After effects
Our Values
  • We Are Customer Obsessed: From our mission to every detailed project, everything we do is designed to create a positive impact for our customers.
  • We Move (Very!) Quickly: The speed at which we work, iterate, and deliver value is our most competitive advantage.
  • We Are Trustworthy: Candor, directness, and honest communication helps us learn, grow and improve so we can win together.
  • We Are Curious: We extend beyond our comfort zone and ask questions that guide us towards new, creative, and bold paths.
  • We Act Like A Mensch: We act with honor, integrity and empathy, and have deep respect for our customers and each other.
Perks
  • Greatest Team: A world-class team of the brightest and most talented out there! Work with fun, hardworking, kind, nice people who are passionate about what they do
  • Compensation: Competitive salary, benefits, and equity
  • Family Focus: Parental leave and flexibility for families
  • Time Off: Generous PTO. We want you to relax when you need to relax!
  • Healthcare: Excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401K: 3% matching

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
