What You’re Applying For:
The UI Lead will help support the UX team through successive and iterative stages of research, design, development, testing, launch and post-release support
What You’ll Do:
- Understand target users’ needs, motivations, and behaviors as it relates to a specific project or area.
- Establish, promote and ensure design guidelines, best practices and standards are followed across the platform.
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand off to development.
- Proactive, creative, and logical problem-solver who can articulate abstract concepts in concrete ways
- Present and defend designs and key milestones deliverables’ to peers and executive level stakeholders.
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design challenges
- Collaborate with product owner, UX designers, and developers to define and implement innovative solutions to common place requirements.
- Ability to design and create a visual hierarchy with typography, understand design systems and promote consistency through work
Challenges:
- Navigate a fast paced Agile environment requiring independent self-direction with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication
- Articulate UI design issues effectively. Present and justify design thinking and rationale through key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders
- Collaborate with product management, engineering and other stakeholders to implement an intuitive, seamless user experience with our products and applications across multiple platforms
What You Need:
Experience - Bachelors Degree in Design or equivalent work experience. (8+ years)• A portfolio demonstrating user experience knowledge, a clean visual design sense and
design process.
Understanding the Bigger Picture -Ability to think and design holistically in order
to create a cohesive and coherent product experience.
