Position Summary

You will create all necessary UI and UX art assets for RAD games (UI art, UX designs, animations, prototypes, and possibly marketing art) with an emphasis on creating art that communicates the needed visual language for casual mobile games. You will report to the project Art Director

Responsibilities

  • UX - Design the architecture, interface, and interaction flow of game features and experiences
  • UX - Work closely with game designers, artists, and engineers to develop and deliver flowcharts, wireframes, user flows, and functional prototypes
  • UI - Define and Create an awesome and consistent UI that aligns to the pillars of the RAD games
  • UI - Create the UI building blocks / style guide for all games
  • Create animated prototypes demonstrating UI interaction models and visual effects
  • If possible, implement assets into our Unity projects
  • If possible, design and create Marketing and Live Ops Art

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of UX design experience
  • 3+ years of UI art creation experience
  • 3+ years’ experience working collaboratively and effectively in a game development team
  • Experience in designing and UI art from scratch
  • Proven ability to design UX and communicate with wireframes and prototypes
  • Unity UI integration skills and general Unity and animation knowledge

As technical director for the “Puzzle Suite” of products, McBride recently worked on a project to create Monopoly Solitaire. “We had to deliver a new product quickly while leveraging a codebase developed by another MobilityWare team,” McBride said. “The final product is a testament to the effectiveness of collaboration across several app teams and is a result of team members sharing tech and putting their heads together.

We lean heavily on Unity as our core engine. That’s supplemented by a robust suite of internally developed tech that we use for ad mediation and ad serving, privacy systems, and a variety of third-party components.
