USER EXPERIENCE (UX) SENIOR DESIGNER
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Designs a user experience that is useful, usable and desirable to promote adoption of responsive and mobile Web-based banking systems. Identifies and satisfies the users' and business needs and goals by working collaboratively with cross functional teams, business users and stakeholders. Creates and maintains a responsive design standards library in line with brand, usability testing and reporting, recommending digital design assets, providing specifications for development and QA, user acceptance testing to ensure that code is delivered according to design specifications.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Apply current UX methodologies, best practices and standards for a given project.
- Defines UI requirements by utilizing UX practices, such as sketches, wireframes, or prototypes, to help illustrate the intended user experience of a service or application.
- Focus on scoping, building and optimizing how information is organized and presented to users through site architecture and navigation.
- Defines, documents and maintains UX Usability and Best Practices and communicates across departments to optimize ease of use and achieve an integrated and consistent experience.
- Participates in the research, analysis, development, and testing phases of the design process.
- Maintains awareness of industry best practices, implements them when appropriate, and shares UX trends with team members.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Must-Have*
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 6 years of User Experience Designer experience, creating responsive web and/or mobile applications
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in an Agile environment alongside development teams
- Minimum 3 years of experience building mocks and prototypes in Sketch and/or Invision and/or Axure and/or Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator and/or InDesign
- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience
Skills and Knowledge
- Minimum 6-8 years of User Experience Designer experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in an Agile environment alongside development teams.
- Minimum 3 years of experience building mocks and prototypes in Sketch and/or Invision and/or Axure and/or Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, with strong preference for prior education and experience.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Photoshop, InDesign and Axure.
- Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
- Strong collaboration, organizational and analytical skills, working with cross-functional teams and external users.
- Balances an academic interest in best practices and tactical solutions.
- Able to develop/maintain a design pattern library.
- Experience with usability testing and interpreting / reporting on results
- Experience designing quality user experiences for both customer and employee facing systems
- Strong copy writing and/or editorial work experience
- Ability to design for and differentiate between mobile downloadable application and responsive web design experiences
Compensation
Starting base salary: $101,231 - $172,355 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
