What You Will Do
Collaborate closely with Design and Product Leadership to define features and contribute to the overall direction of product.
Partner with engineering to ensure that our implementation and user experience is π.
Use and evolve our design system in order to design flows, prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity visuals for your features.
Create and iterate on features that drive an understanding of how to use dotOrg successfully.
Proactively solicit feedback from your peers, including product designers and other teammates in your product team.
Collaborate with Design Leadership to inform and improve design processes and culture.
Plan and conduct research efforts Β to further our understanding of our users.
Find creative ways to solve UX problems and measure its success.
Constantly be learning about the nonprofit space and industry trends.
What You Possess
5+ years of experience in an individual contributor role, on a Product Design team.
An outstanding portfolio, showcasing a foundation in Ideation, Interaction and Visual Design, and Research.
BS in Design, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Solid understanding of how to create usable, accessible, and modular designs that can scale to millions of users.
The knack to understand and solve problems.
Analytical mind with a business acumen.
Experience in working and collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid growth environment.
Experience partnering with Product Managers to develop the strategy and rationale for features.
Ability with prototyping as a means to explore and convey design solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (especially if you love to use emojis π)
Bonus: Experience designing for iterative and experimental features
Nice To Haves
Enterprise software experience in user-facing tools.
Passion for, or experience with, the Non Profit space and the problems we are solving.
Tolerance for ambiguity, creativity in strategy and execution tactics, and always improving on the status quo.
