Job Summary:
We’re seeking a Motion Graphics Designer to join our in-house production team. The Motion Graphics Designer will produce high-quality content within an accelerated time frame. The role requires a highly-organized and detail-oriented motion graphic designer with a typography and layout mindset. The ideal candidate has an expert knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and is proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro. The ideal candidate is a self-starter that enjoys working on a team. Ruggable is based in Gardena, CA and the job requires someone who lives in the Los Angeles area.
What You’ll Do:
- Animate graphics for videos across social, YouTube, OTT, and other paid media channels. Additionally, edit video and audio in Premiere Pro when needed.
- Work with a team of editors and a team of designers to fulfill a high volume of video ad requests each week.
- Build templates and overlays for editors that will be used on subsequent videos.
- Complete round trip from Premiere to After Effects, and set up dynamic linking between PP and AE.
- Present storyboard concepts before animating and create design lockups and key art for projects.
What You'll Need to Have:
Required
- 5+ years designing and animating — in-house brand or creative agency, specifically someone who has experience in social ads.
- Must have an expert level knowledge of After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Proficient in Premiere Pro.
- Must be able to build .mogrt files that editors can use in Premiere Pro.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced/high-volume environment.
- Maintain brand identity through design and animated end cards, transitions, and supers.
- Must be able to take notes from multiple sources and keep a positive attitude.
- Must stay current on social media design trends. Expected to be a subject matter expert on motion graphics with the ability to lead training sessions for the team.
