Product designers at Fair power our customer experiences, creating beautiful, seamless flows that solve customer problems in creative ways. Lead Product Designers use their problem-solving skills, visual and user interface design skills, user-centered design principles, along with typography,  illustration, iconography, color, and composition to help our users navigate our product while engaging and inspiring them. We are passionate about creating an experience that  reflects our users' feedback, feelings, and needs. The ideal candidate is a leading performer who manages projects, has exceptional design skill, pushes convention, and drives change in design problem-solving. 


You report to the Senior Director of Design based in Atlanta, GA.


 Responsibilities:

  • Use critical thinking to solve user experience problems
  • Craft data-informed design decisions based on user feedback and testing
  • Generate ideas, develop flows, and build wireframes with your creative process
  • Use your attention to detail and keen visual eye to create high-quality designs
  • Collaborate with your team and listen to feedback to reach solutions together
  • Lead and inform product decisions — from exploration to delivery of the final product
  • Inspire and help others by bringing fresh perspectives and a good attitude
  • Enhance overall design quality with new techniques and workflows
  • Identify strengths in teammates and give them valuable feedback and mentoring
  • Present to teams, stakeholders and leadership to share outcomes, progress and inform decision-making


 Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years or equivalent of experience creating products, with a portfolio displaying your design, problem-solving, and leadership skills across a variety of projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Media Arts or equivalent experience
  • Excellence in UX/UI design, user flows, research, testing for app and web applications
  • E-commerce experience, a plus
  • Vast experience working with a Agile product and engineering teams from wireframes to product release
  • Solid working knowledge of JIRA and participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, stand ups
  • Facilitating and apply Design Thinking techniques to solve customer and business-related problems, a plus
  • Exceptional visual design skills
  • Excellent collaboration and presentation skills 
  • Proficiency in Sketch/Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Keynote/Google Slides, and prototyping tool(s)
  • Additional familiarity with HTML/CSS, After Effects, or Lucidchart a plus
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and presentation software like Google Slides a plus
