Junior Digital Marketing Designer

If you love digging into a new brand and creating visual assets, we'd love to talk to you! This is an internal facing role and you’d be responsible for all design work pertaining to Hawke Media’s personal brand. Designers should have experience with storytelling, creating assets from scratch, and taking existing assets / aesthetics and appealing them to new mediums.
At Hawke, we're looking for a talented, eager graphic designer who specializes in digital ad design. Responsible for supporting our internal paid media efforts, we're seeking a driven, detail-oriented, intuitive-thinking individual to a handle high volume design production. This individual will also work closely with our Experiential and Event Marketing Manager to assets for our virtual events. You should be quick on your feet, great communicating both internally and externally, have a keen eye for design, and of course have a sense of humor!
Responsibilities:
- Create versatile message and image match focused ads that relay the appropriate message in conjunction with the campaign presented
- Use your high level of creativity to constantly innovate
- Successfully communicate with internal team members
- Be comfortable working with multiple team members and deadlines
Skills & Experience
- Fluency in Photoshop
- Strategic thinking, prioritization skills, troubleshooting and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills -
- Experience in copywriting and HTML5 is a plus (but not required)
- Knowledge of design as it pertains to ad design; best practices for creating optimized and campaign focus digital ads and designing for the ad landscape
