Graphic Designer - Production

About the Team:
At ChowNow, we are passionate about serving the needs of over 10,000 restaurants to help them compete in an increasingly technical world. Our team works on products focused on restaurant clients and their diners (who transact over $1,000,000 daily on the ChowNow platform).

Within 1 month, You'll:
- Complete our ChowNow onboarding (Ramp Camp)
- Learn the ins and outs about ChowNow and our product
- Shadow each department for an in depth look into how each team plays their part
- Complete training with our Team Leads to learn how to access and use all internal tools, including Salesforce, Dropbox, ChowNow Dashboard, Slack, Google Apps
- Create, edit and revise client logos so it meets the standards for launching with ChowNow
- Design 5 complete launch packages for a new restaurant partner and make sure it gets sent through the correct channels
Within 3 months, You'll:
- Consistently complete 15 or more logo rebuilds and print design tasks per day
- Troubleshoot client assets in order for them to launch with ChowNow
- Be able to confidently communicate to Account Coordinators about assets needed
- Consistently deliver print ready files that adhere to ChowNow’s design team standards
- Know how to identify and manage your daily tasks through Salesforce
- Time manage and be able to communicate your workload on a daily basis to the team
- Memorize all of ChowNow’s templated marketing materials that we offer to our restaurant clients
Within 6 months, You'll:
- Be able to design and deliver any of the templated marketing materials that we offer to our restaurant clients
- Become an expert at identifying why an asset might be ineligible for launch
- Be active in the Account Coordinator/Design Team slack channel, answering questions and lending knowledge
Within 12 months, You'll:
- Have the knowledge and confidence to handle tricky client requests that require an in-depth understanding of our products and protocols
- Proactively identify, pilot and implement ways to increase efficiency and streamline our current processes
- Assist in training new team members
- Contribute to adding new templates to ChowNow’s marketing offerings
- Help maintain all design process documentation, manuals and file organization
You Should Apply If:
- You have experience designing print materials, editing layouts, retouching photos and converting assets into digital files using the Adobe Creative Suite
- You have experience precisely preparing files for print production
- Solid knowledge of typography and layout
- Must be self-motivated, proactive and be able to work independently
- Must possess exceptional follow-through skills
- You’re enthusiastic about processes and are quick to find more efficient solutions
- You have experience coordinating a large volume tasks and timelines simultaneously
- You can communicate in a clear, concise and effective manner
- Experience with Dropbox, Box, Sketch and Salesforce is a plus
- Knowledge of the pen tool in Illustrator is a plus
