Fashion Design Associate 

The Fashion Design Associate will contribute to Reformation's success and growth by managing the process of creating high designs.

As a Fashion Design associate at Ref you will be working to ensure we are first in identifying emerging trends, and translating these into fashion stories our customers will love and believe in. You will work closely with the Buying teams and our Suppliers to ensure you capture the season’s must-have pieces to excite and delight the customer. 

What You’ll Do:

• Interpret trends into commercial designs
• Identify key silhouettes, fabrics and trims that are relevant to the Reformation customer
• Gathering & use relevant internal and external information to drive product and range development for the customer
• Partner with the Design Director and Buyers to develop the vision and direction of the brand
• Responsible for producing specs either by hand and/or CAD
• Sketching 

What You’ll Need:

• 1-3 years experience 
• Strong Sketching skills 
• Relevant contemporary experience with an appreciation of fabric, trims,
• Knowledge of CAD would be beneficial
• Experience working with domestic and overseas factories/suppliers is beneficial 
• Appetite for design influences and strong eye
• Ability to work under own initiative
• Strong enthusiasm for Reformation as a brand
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate confidently at all levels
• Ability to work under pressure and with strong personalities
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Have a genuine passion for Sustainability
