Designer

The Designer will be responsible for supporting the design team in all aspects of concept and design. We are looking for a talented and creative individual to assist the design team with product conception and development. This is a full-time position.

What You’ll Do:

• Research current and upcoming seasonal trends in regard to color, fabric, and silhouette
• Organize and create layouts of seasonal stories that represent the target customer
• Design and organize weekly deliveries and special projects in time with calendar deadlines
• Translate concepts into design specification packages, including: illustrator flats with construction and trim details
• Translate concepts to create flat sketches and oversees the development of product tech packages
• Ensure that design and production calendar stages are being met on time

What You’ll Need:

• 1-2 years experince as a Designer 
• Available immediately.

Who You Are:

• Strong understanding of silhouettes, fabrics, colors, sewing techniques, trim and details
• Extremely organized
• Excellent at hand sketching
• Expert knowledge of marketplace trends and the competitive landscape
• Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills required
• Extreme attention to detail and maintaining accuracy
• Ability to prioritize when juggling multiple projects
• Thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Innovative, abstract thinker who is self-motivated and enthusiastic
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PhotoShop
• Extremely honest and trustworthy with highest integrity

Extra Credit:

• Previous design internship experience preferred
