What You’ll Do:

The Design Program Coordinator will serve as a strategic and operational extension of the VP of Data Center Design, driving execution, alignment, and efficiency across the Design organization. This role partners closely with leadership to manage priorities, coordinate complex design programs, and ensure clear communication across teams and stakeholders. 

About the role:

The Design Program Coordinator serves as a strategic and operational partner, focused on program execution, organizational effectiveness, and cross-functional alignment. On a day-to-day basis, this role supports the VP in managing priorities, tracking execution of key initiatives, and ensuring the design organization operates with clarity and efficiency. You will coordinate complex design programs, support team planning and resourcing, and translate technical work into clear, actionable updates for leadership. This position blends technical fluency in data center design with strong program and organizational management responsibilities.

Who You Are: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
  • 4+ years of experience in data center design, MEP engineering, or technical data center infrastructure roles
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multi-project portfolios or complex engineering programs
  • Strong understanding of data center MEP systems and design documentation workflows
  • Experience supporting project tracking, milestone management, and executive-level reporting
  • Proficiency with project management and productivity tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, Jira, Excel)
  • Ability to analyze schedules, resource plans, and technical inputs to support informed decision-making
Preferred:
  • Experience working directly with senior leaders or executives
  • Exposure to program management frameworks (OKRs, dashboards, portfolio tracking)
    PMP or similar project/program management certification
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth infrastructure or technology environments
  • 6+ years of experience in data center design, MEP Engineering, or technical data center infrastructure roles

The base salary range for this role is $109,000 to  $145,000. The starting salary will be determined by job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and the market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

Our Workplace

While we prioritize a hybrid work environment, remote work may be considered for candidates located more than 30 miles from an office, based on role requirements for specialized skill sets. New hires will be invited to attend onboarding at one of our hubs within their first month. Teams also gather quarterly to support collaboration.
