This role is within Chamberlain Group's Operations and Supply Chain function. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Lead content creation supporting the monthly LOB Demand Review as part of the S&OP/IBP process including the presentation of the 18-month rolling demand plan, its assumptions, drivers and risks/opportunities and (ii) Drive collaborative forecasting including identification of quantified risks, reviewing gaps and developing appropriate countermeasures for resolution with internal stakeholders. Education requirements include: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or Marketing; Experience requirements include: 5-7 years of relevant work experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (in descending order of percentage of time required)

  • Lead content creation supporting the monthly LOB Demand Review as part of the S&OP/IBP process including the presentation of the 18-month rolling demand plan, its assumptions, drivers and risks/opportunities
  • • Drive collaborative forecasting including identification of quantified risks, reviewing gaps and developing appropriate countermeasures for resolution with internal stakeholders
  • • Lead demand planning reviews for multiple product families measuring the demand planning process effectiveness to drive complete and on-time performance & continuous improvement actions
  • • Incorporate guidance from the Product Management Review and new product launch materials to ensure forecasts support new product development objectives and assist in the conversion (run out) from one item to another
  • • Create and/or maintain forecasting models for each item at each stocking location and for key customers within designated product lines to achieve established forecast accuracy goals at overall and distribution center levels
  • • Manage the forecasting system (APO or the like) to deliver optimal modeling of the business and improve planner productivity by maximizing system functionality
  • • Ensure consensus forecast is aligned with the 18 month forward plan for handoff to the Supply team and identify and communicate any significant changes prior to this occurring
  • • Contribute toward the annual budget and operating plan process by collaborating with cross-functional partners in the development of underlying casual demand assumptions, scenario planning and LOB Demand plans
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
  • • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or Marketing
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience
  • Able to travel up to 10% - domestically and internationally
  • Preferred Qualifications Masters in Business Administration. APICS CPIM / CIRM, CSCP, Lean / Six Sigma, and/or PMP certifications

The pay for this position is ($81,000-$132,000); base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.  In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).

This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
