ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Demand Generation Manager to build and execute our demand generation engine, driving qualified leads through paid and organic channels, events, and account-based marketing. TEAM INTEGRATION

You report to the VP of Marketing. You'll work closely with:

  • PMM (new hire) — receive product messaging and positioning for campaigns

  • Content & Social Manager — create campaign content and email copy

  • Website Growth Manager (new hire) — brief on landing page optimization needs

  • Video team — create campaign video assets

  • DevRel (new hire) — coordinate on developer-focused events

  • Sales team — align on lead qualification and account targeting

  • Product team — support product launches and feature announcements

ROLE TASKS:

You'll own our demand generation engine, building scalable programs that drive qualified leads and pipeline growth. In this role, you'll take the lead on:

Paid & Organic Marketing
  • Own paid advertising strategy across Google Ads, LinkedIn, and other B2B channels

  • Manage agency relationships for paid media execution and optimization

  • Develop organic content strategy to drive SEO traffic and thought leadership

  • Optimize campaign performance through continuous testing and iteration

  • Manage budget and track ROI across all paid channels

  • Create campaign landing pages and brief Website Growth Manager on optimization needs

Events & Conferences
  • Plan and execute general marketing events including webinars, workshops, and product demos

  • Manage conference strategy — identify, evaluate, and participate in relevant events

  • Coordinate booth presence and speaking opportunities at industry conferences

  • Organize customer events and user meetups to drive engagement

  • Track event ROI and optimize our event marketing mix

  • Partner with DevRel on developer-focused events and meetups

Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
  • Develop ABM strategy targeting high-value accounts and prospects

  • Create personalized campaigns for key accounts and segments

  • Coordinate with sales on account targeting and engagement strategies

  • Implement account-based advertising and retargeting campaigns

  • Track account engagement and progression through the funnel

  • Optimize ABM programs based on performance and feedback

Newsletter & Email Marketing
  • Own our newsletter strategy and execution (currently underdeveloped)

  • Develop email nurture sequences for different audience segments

  • Create gated content campaigns to capture and nurture leads

  • Manage email list health and segmentation

  • Test and optimize email performance (open rates, click rates, conversions)

  • Coordinate with writer on newsletter content and email copy

Lead Management & Analytics
  • Own lead scoring and qualification processes

  • Track and analyze marketing funnel performance from awareness to qualified leads

  • Report on demand generation KPIs and pipeline contribution

  • Optimize lead handoff between marketing and sales

  • Conduct A/B testing on campaigns, landing pages, and email sequences

  • Manage marketing automation workflows and lead nurturing

Content & Campaign Strategy
  • Receive product messaging and positioning from PMM for campaigns

  • Partner with writer to create campaign-specific content and copy

  • Brief Website Growth Manager on landing page optimization needs

  • Coordinate with video team on campaign video assets

  • Develop seasonal campaigns and product launch support

  • Create campaign briefs and creative direction for all demand gen initiatives

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Mid-level experience in B2B demand generation, growth marketing, or digital marketing

  • Proven track record of driving qualified leads and pipeline growth

  • Experience with paid advertising platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Strong analytical skills — you can interpret data and optimize campaigns

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (ActiveCampaign, Marketo, etc.)

  • Event marketing experience — virtual and in-person events

  • ABM experience or strong interest in account-based strategies

  • Startup mindset — you can move fast and adapt to changing priorities

Nice to Have
  • Experience with developer tools, API infrastructure, or technical products

  • Background in B2B SaaS marketing

  • Experience with developer marketing and technical audiences

  • Knowledge of SEO and content marketing

  • Familiarity with marketing attribution and analytics tools

  • Experience managing agency relationships

Technical Skills
  • Paid advertising: Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads, retargeting platforms

  • Marketing automation: Active Campaign, HubSpot, Marketo, or similar

  • Analytics tools: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, PostHog

  • GTME & ABM tooling: Clay, Smartlead, Demandbase, 6sense, or similar

  • Event platforms: Zoom, Hopin, or similar

  • CRM integration: Salesforce

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

In your first 6 months, you'll have:

  • Established paid advertising programs with measurable ROI

  • Launched our first ABM campaigns targeting high-value accounts

  • Created and executed a consistent newsletter strategy

  • Built event marketing programs for virtual and in-person events

  • Implemented lead scoring and qualification processes

  • Established demand generation reporting and analytics

Key Metrics You'll Own
  • Marketing qualified leads (MQLs) and Sales Accepted conversion rates

  • Cost per lead (CPL) and cost per acquisition (CPA)

  • Campaign ROI and pipeline contribution

  • Event attendance and engagement rates

  • Email performance (open rates, click rates, conversions)

  • Account engagement and progression rates

Note: This is a full-time, fully remote position. We are looking for someone who is available to work during United States business hours, however, we are open to applications from European (CET) time zone as well.

Our process also includes reference and background checks. We aim to respond or provide feedback in 2 or 3 days between each stage of the process. We're usually hiring through Deel as our Employer of Record, except for Germany or Florida where we're hiring directly.
