About the Role
This role is responsible for developing and executing end-to-end marketing strategies that generate high-velocity qualified leads for Opus1. This involves managing and owning the website, campaigns, and marketing automation tools to ensure consistent, targeted messaging.
The ideal candidate is a growth-oriented Demand Generation Marketer with 3–7 years of experience developing and executing modern, effective marketing strategies. They excel at driving integrated campaigns that nurture highly qualified leads through the funnel. They possess a strong grasp of both qualitative and quantitative tactics. Comfortable in fast-paced environments, they are adept at experimenting with and leveraging modern tools, including AI-powered solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategy – Develop and execute multi-channel demand generation strategies to drive qualified leads and revenue growth
• Website and landing page optimization – Own, maintain, and improve the website to maximize conversions
• Campaign creation – Launch targeted campaigns that generate qualified pipeline from customer segments
• Campaign channels and optimization – Improve lead conversion rates and shorten sales cycles through creative awareness and nurture generation activities
• Funnel reporting and attribution – Create funnel and attribution reports that demonstrate what’s working and what’s not
• Marketing automation – Leverage and own marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot) for email, text, and other channels
• Cross-functional leadership – Align marketing, sales, success, and product teams on lead generation efforts
Qualifications
• 3–7 years of experience executing successful demand generation campaigns in B2B SaaS
• Proficient with tools including HubSpot, WordPress, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and the Google Suite
• Expertise in data and analytics, with a strong focus on measuring and proving ROI
• Hands-on experience across multiple digital marketing disciplines and channels such as email, text, video, CRO, SEO, SEM, and online advertising
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives on time and within budget
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter with a builder mindset who works well independently and collaboratively
• Demonstrates grit and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
• Excited and curious about how to apply AI tools to increase quality and velocity
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Journalism, or another relevant field
• Nice to have: Experience and passion for music and performing arts education
In Your First 90 Days
• Launch 2–3 paid campaigns targeting key ICP segments
• Build a reporting dashboard to track Leads, CAC, and pipeline velocity
• Audit existing demand efforts and deliver actionable recommendations
• Deliver a website development and improvement plan with a timeline
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, this is a founding position on the Opus1 Marketing team with opportunities to create big impact.
