The Demand Finance Manager will serve as a strategic finance partner to the Sales and Marketing organizations, providing financial insights and decision support across forecasting, customer and channel performance, marketing investments, innovation, and commercial planning. This role will help connect commercial strategies and demand assumptions to financial outcomes, providing visibility into volume, revenue, trade, margin, and profitability. The Demand Finance Manager will work closely with Sales, Marketing, FP&A, Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, and other cross-functional partners to improve forecast accuracy, strengthen financial planning, and support data-driven business decisions.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Sales Finance, Demand Finance, or related roles, preferably within CPG or a similar industry.

  • Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting, customer economics, revenue, trade, margin, and profitability.

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with advanced Excel capabilities.

  • Experience partnering with Sales and/or Marketing organizations strongly preferred.

  • Experience supporting forecasting, annual planning, innovation, customer/channel analysis, or commercial business reviews preferred.

  • Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, planning systems, TPM systems, or similar financial and commercial tools preferred.

  • Strong communication and business partnering skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

What Will Be Your Key Responsibilities?

Sales & Marketing Finance Partnership:

  • Serve as a key finance partner to Sales and Marketing, providing financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.

  • Support customer, channel, and brand performance reviews, identifying key drivers, risks, and opportunities versus plan and prior year.

  • Develop financial scenarios to evaluate changes in volume, customer plans, marketing investments, mix, and other commercial assumptions.

  • Provide visibility into the financial impact of Sales and Marketing initiatives across revenue, trade, net sales, margin, and profitability.

  • Partner with commercial teams to identify opportunities to improve financial performance and deliver against business objectives.

Forecasting & Planning:

  • Support the financial components of the demand and S&OP planning process, ensuring commercial assumptions are appropriately reflected in the financial forecast.

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to understand and validate volume, customer, channel, innovation, and investment assumptions.

  • Translate demand changes into financial impacts across revenue, trade, net sales, margin, and profitability.

  • Partner with FP&A to support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), periodic forecasts, long-range planning, and business reviews.

  • Analyze forecast versus actual performance and identify key drivers of variance, risks, and opportunities.

  • Help improve forecast accuracy, visibility, and planning processes across the commercial organization.

  • Support the multi-year Integrated Value Creation Plan (IVCP) by developing demand financial models, analyzing volume and gross margin trajectories, and partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to validate key commercial assumptions.

Customer, Channel & Portfolio Performance:

  • Support customer and channel P&Ls and provide insights into revenue, trade, margin, mix, and profitability performance.

  • Analyze customer and channel trends to identify financial opportunities, risks, and performance drivers.

  • Support Sales with financial modeling for customer plans, business reviews, and commercial opportunities.

  • Evaluate product and customer mix impacts and provide recommendations to support profitable growth.

  • Partner with Trade Finance to ensure trade assumptions and actual spending are appropriately reflected in customer and financial forecasts.

Marketing & Innovation Finance:

  • Partner with Marketing to support brand planning, marketing investment decisions, and financial performance analysis.

  • Provide financial modeling and scenario analysis for marketing initiatives and investment decisions.

  • Support innovation and renovation financial evaluations, including volume assumptions, pricing, margin, investment requirements, and profitability.

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain Finance, and FP&A to assess financial implications of new product launches and commercialization plans.

  • Track performance of key initiatives versus original financial assumptions and identify risks and opportunities.

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting that provide clear visibility into demand and commercial performance.

  • Deliver actionable insights on volume, revenue, trade, mix, margin, and profitability.

  • Leverage systems including SAP S/4HANA, Power BI, Excel, and other planning and reporting tools to improve reporting efficiency and financial visibility.

  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting, streamline processes, and improve data quality and consistency.

  • Support preparation of financial materials for leadership reviews and cross-functional business discussions.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 101,120.00 - USD 139,040.00
