Job Description

Attain Partners is seeking an On-Demand Executive Advisor - Higher Education CIO to provide short, high-impact support to pursuits and delivery. Engagements are typically targeted (proposal review, discovery sessions, executive validation) and activated quickly through the program’s intake and matching process.


Job Responsibilities

  • Review and improve proposals and presentations (relevance, feasibility, risks, CIO-aligned value narrative).
  • Provide rapid validation sessions on modernization roadmaps, IT operating model, and technology strategy in higher education contexts.
  • Participate in short discovery sessions to accelerate executive alignment and refine solution direction.
  • Provide targeted delivery guidance (governance, stakeholder alignment, risk identification).

Required Skills

  • Former higher education CIO/CTO with demonstrated transformation leadership.
  • Strong executive communication; practical, outcome-oriented advisory style.
  • Clear conflicts profile; adheres to confidentiality and program guidelines.
