About the Job

The Territory Sales Representative, also referred to as a Field Sales Manager, will sell, train, merchandise, and promote Dell and Alienware Laptops, Desktops, AIO, Monitors, and accessories in Regional and National retailers. Our goal is to ensure retail sales associates have the latest and most relevant product information when they are selling and demonstrating our client’s products. Our teams visit retail stores in their market on a rotating and systematic weekly schedule to ensure a consistent message is delivered in a timely manner. Activities as a Field Sales Manager

  • Demonstrate, sell, and promote Dell products at retailers in the assigned market.
  • Provide training and support to Retail Sales Associates and Leadership.
  • Complete Endcap and Inline resets of Dell/AW displays.
  • Use personal transportation to travel within the assigned market, visiting retailers on a weekly schedule.
  • Guide consumers with the latest and most relevant product information when making a purchase decision.
  • Coordinate Group trainings and execute.
  • Be able to not only promote the Dell brand to customers but also work closely with store associates and management to build tight-knit relationships.
  • Attend bi-annual meetings for training and enrichment with the client partner.

Job Description:

  • Drive Dell market share through daily direct and indirect sales engagement
  • Deliver high-quality customer interactions that convert to measurable results
  • Train and motivate retail associates to confidently recommend Dell solutions
  • Build strong relationships with store managers to create sales-driving initiatives
  • Ensure Dell displays are clean, operational, and visually compelling
  • Execute retail resets and merchandising refreshes within your market
  • Educate customers and recommend complete solutions tailored to their needs
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales and performance metrics
  • Capture customer feedback and provide insights to improve strategy
  • Accurately document sales activity, store visits, and best practices

Performance Measurements:

  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals
  • Meet or exceed weekly in-store time goals
  • Visit multiple store locations on a daily and weekly basis
  • Effectively schedule store visits two weeks or more in advance
  • Effectively execute sales activities inside each location during all visits
  • Effectively demonstrate an ongoing ability to establish, maintain, and influence business relationships through increased shelf space, product placement, and consistent productivity
  • Record and maintain appropriate documentation for each visit

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 6+ months of previous retail selling experience in consumer electronics or other technical/wireless products preferred
  • 6+ months of successful training experience, preferably within direct marketing/retail environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stage a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs
  • Strong analytical skills and customer service orientation
  • Strong multi-tasking skills, time management, and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform independently in an unstructured work environment
  • Travel within 70 miles of Ideal Market Zip Code with occasional travel to other Markets
  • Must have and maintain reliable transportation and state-required minimum liability automobile insurance coverage
