Yext is seeking a highly-organized, motivated, and goal-oriented Delivery Manager to join our Services organization.

The Delivery Manager will align with our cross-functional Sales & Client Success pods, own a book of business and will be responsible for the holistic program management of all Services delivered within this book of business. As Delivery Manager, you will ensure the successful deployment of Yext, preparing our customers for long-term value realization from their adoption of Yext’s technology. This role can leverage teams of Product Specialists, Platform Consultants, Designers and Engineers who will implement all Yext Products and perform key product enhancements, bug fixes, Knowledge Administration (both proactive and reactive) to assure that the clients’ solutions are meeting all SLAs and individual SoWs (as applicable). 

Responsibilities

Managing a Book of Business - External 

    • Oversees program management, project management, and delivery of services for clients within their book of business, ensuring delivery meets customer requirements on time and within budget
    • Present to external stakeholders outlining project status, highlighting risks, and solving challenges
    • Develop, maintain, and execute robust project plans to ensure customers stay within scope and on budget
    • Develop relationships with key customers for successful deployments
    • Act as escalation-resolution for key accounts regarding Services issues within your book of business
    • Provide industry-specific direction for the group of clients for SEO, trends, features, etc.
    • Create a strong trusting relationship with the clients

Managing a Book of Business - Internal

    • Manage reporting to senior leadership on Services project status, risk mitigation and budget or hour consumption 
    • Oversee program management, project management, and delivery of services ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery
    • Aid in monitoring, assessing, and mitigating risks to the team’s portfolio of projects
    • Build relationships with colleagues in success, services, product, sales, and other delivery stakeholders
    • Partner with Sales, Client Success, and Support to ensure client satisfaction within the book of business
    • Responsible for an overview of client status reporting across book of business.

Developing PMO Function Routinely review and update internal documentation to reflect changes in company processes and product updates

    • Educate internal stakeholders on Services delivery to contribute to scoping accuracy
    • Proactively identify strategies to achieve revenue, retention, and customer satisfaction goals
    • Provide industry-specific direction for clients regarding SEO, trends, features, etc.
    • Ensure the standardization of processes and documentation across the book of business; collaborate with Delivery Managers and Functional Managers for consistency and alignment
    • Build, develop & maintain project templates 

Contribute to Yext 

    • Deliver meaningful product feedback to leadership and the product management team
    • Assist Client Product Owners in developing client-specific roadmaps and prioritizing work based on the backlog and overall roadmap

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in any discipline or relevant experience
  • 6-8  years of experience in software Implementation, consulting, or similar client-facing roles
  • 3-4 years managing client-facing projects
  • 3-4 years experience working directly with clients
  • Strong client-facing skills (presentation deck development, presentations)
  • Excellent program management and project management (including prioritization and organization) skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic proficiency in data analysis and manipulation with Excel
  • Outstanding and effective interpersonal skills; along with strong ability to communicate complex problems
  • Detail-oriented, organized, process-driven
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment
  • Takes pride in providing a high level of service and delivering consistent performance
  • Must be available for occasional travel (less than 5%)
  • Fluency and interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) usage, optimization, and tool creation.

Pay ranges at Yext are established based on an analysis of salaries for positions with a similar level of accountability and impact in the relevant labor market. Salary levels are expected to change to reflect an employee’s job performance (results and impact) over time. Salaries at the time of hire are typically offered in the lower to middle of the above-referenced range in order to provide the opportunity to reflect performance-based increases over time. In addition to base salaries, employees at Yext are typically eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits including medical, dental and vision benefits; life insurance; short term and long-term disability; 401(k) retirement plan; and vacation and sick leave. Successful candidates may also be eligible for equity (stock) based compensation and/or variable pay programs based on performance relative to goals and targets.

Annual Base Pay Range
$117,900$207,500 USD
