Reporting directly to the Innovation Lead, we are looking for a talented DeFi Market Analyst to join our team and help shape the future of decentralized finance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform research into emerging protocols, tokens, and ecosystems to expand trading capabilities and identify high-impact opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth post-trade and quantitative performance analysis to surface trends, inefficiencies, and actionable insights.
- Design, implement, and scale operational workflows, controls, and automation frameworks to improve execution quality and efficiency.
- Analyze the DeFi incentivization landscape and provide actionable recommendations around best practices in different contexts.
- Develop Growth & Incentive Analytics to accurately track and optimize incentive performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of our platform.
Requirements
- Proven experience in DeFi research, yield generation, DeFi incentive program management, or a related field, with a preference for candidates with DeFi space exposure.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of clearly compiling and presenting analysis findings.
- The ability to work with blockchain data tools such as Allium, Dune, and Subgraphs.
- Comfortable running and modifying Python scripts, and capable of writing basic Python scripts for data fetching and normalization for analysis purposes.
- Team player with the ability to work with clients and internal teams to refine product offerings.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for DeFi and blockchain technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Based in NYC with the ability to work from our Brooklyn office, or the ability to work remotely in the USA, with travel up to 30% of the year to collaborate in person with the team.
- A strong personal interest in DeFi, with a proactive mindset and continuous drive to stay at the forefront of protocol developments, yield opportunities, and strategic differentiation.
- A background in trading, including experience building models and a deep understanding of derivatives, pricing, financial markets, and systems.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Knowledge of DeFi protocols and financial markets is highly desirable.
- Experience in writing Python scripts and functions to fetch and normalize data to support research activities.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Salary and seniority level commensurate with experience (range: $120,000-$150,000)
