The Opportunity
As a Deals - Valuation Intern, you will engage in the dynamic world of deal valuation, providing strategic advice and conducting due diligence to help clients make informed decisions and maximize value. Within our Advisory practice, you will be part of a team that guides clients towards sustainable growth and competitive advantage in today's dynamic market. As an Intern, you will support teams by participating in projects, focusing on learning and gaining exposure to PwC's practices. You will perform basic tasks and conduct research while observing professional work environments, contributing reliably to the team's success.
In this role at PwC, you will have the chance to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting unique challenges and scope. You are encouraged to ask questions, take initiative, and produce quality work that adds value for our clients and contributes to our team's success. During your time at the Firm, you will start to establish your personal brand, paving the way to more opportunities. This is an entry-level position that emphasizes gaining exposure and learning new skills, while performing basic tasks to contribute to project goals.
Responsibilities
- Supporting valuation teams in conducting asset and business valuations for mergers and acquisitions
- Participating in financial analysis and modeling to assess the value of financial instruments and businesses
- Assisting in the preparation of valuation reports and presentations for client engagements
- Engaging in research to gather relevant market data and industry trends for valuation purposes
- Collaborating with team members to analyze balance sheets and financial statements
- Utilizing Alteryx for data analysis and process automation in valuation projects
- Observing and learning from experienced professionals to develop skills in valuation methodologies
- Contributing to the development of strategic advice for clients in the context of business transactions
- Applying analytical skills to support due diligence and valuation processes
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree
- Client service intern positions are entry-level and job seekers are traditionally either in their 3rd year of a 4 year degree program or in the 4th year of a 5 year program. Client service interns typically join us during the winter/spring or summer prior to their intended graduation year

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Industrial & System Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, Mathematics and Statistics & Operations Research, Industrial Engineering & Operations Research
- Preferred cumulative GPA: 3.3
- Preferred major GPA: 3.3
- Leveraging AI to create efficiencies, innovate ways of working and deliver distinctive outcomes
- Participating in asset valuation and financial modeling projects
- Utilizing Alteryx for data analysis and process automation
- Engaging in business valuations and derivative valuation tasks
- Applying active listening and feedback acceptance in team settings
The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
