The displayed range represents the expected annual base salary / On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this position. On-Target Earnings (OTE) is inclusive of base salary and on-target commission earnings, which applies exclusively to sales roles.
Individual pay within this range is determined by work location and other factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
This annual base salary forms part of a comprehensive Total Rewards Package. In addition to benefits, this role may qualify for discretionary bonuses/incentives and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

What You'll Do
- Lead in-market events, dealer conferences, and workshops to showcase CarGurus' value proposition and best practices at scale, connecting with our customers at their level.
- Deliver internal and external training and programs on dealership operations, strategy, and CarGurus product and software implementation, upskilling both dealer and internal account teams.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert across all CarGurus products, translating deep technical knowledge into actionable dealer strategies and training sessions.
- Partner with executives internally and externally to guide account strategy, strengthen relationships, inform the product roadmap, and influence business decisions.
- Develop net-new expert-level resources, playbooks, and materials to enhance the customer experience, expand offerings, and deepen dealer engagement.
- Drive measurable results in dealer adoption, ROI, and account growth through a consultative and strategic approach.
- Gather and synthesize dealer feedback, market insights, and adoption trends, presenting findings to CarGurus leadership to inform product roadmap and go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to share insights, deliver presentations, and execute strategic initiatives across the organization.
What you'll bring
- Extensive experience (7+ years preferred) in dealership operations, sales, F&I, BDC/Internet departments, or automotive consulting.
- Ability to travel nationwide, representing CarGurus at events, dealer sites, and conferences, up to 75% of the time.
- Exceptional public speaking, presentation, and facilitation skills for large and small audiences, both internally and externally.
- Deep understanding of dealership operations and strategy, with the ability to connect, train, coach, and advise dealers on business outcomes.
- Skilled at creating high-impact materials and programs that elevate internal teams and dealer partners.
- Comfortable engaging with executives and decision-makers, building credibility and influencing strategic direction.
- Data-driven, with the ability to measure program impact, analyze trends, and make actionable recommendations.
- Self-motivated, autonomous, and able to navigate ambiguity while managing multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to balance cross-functional stakeholder needs, deliver exceptional dealer experiences, and foster long-term relationships.
