About the Team

The Deal Desk team at Zoom is a central part of our Go-To-Market Finance organization, focused on deal support, enablement, and governance. We partner closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to structure, review, and optimize complex deals, ensuring alignment with corporate policies, pricing strategies, and revenue objectives. Our team thrives on problem-solving, collaboration, and delivering high-impact solutions that accelerate sales velocity while mitigating risk.

Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of Deal Desk analysts and senior analysts to support high-quality deal execution supporting America's.

  • Partnering with sales (and other cross-functional teams as needed) to structure complex commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with pricing strategy, business goals, and margin targets.

  • Reviewing and approving non-standard deal terms, providing guidance (where appropriate) on pricing, contract structuring, and revenue recognition or other finance implications.

  • Serving as the primary escalation point for complex deals, maintaining deal momentum, resolving issues with cross-functional teams, and involving Senior Management as required by deal risk.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and identify process improvement opportunities that enhance revenue outcomes, accelerate sales velocity, and mitigate risk exposure.

  • Collaborating with Sales Operations & Enablement to develop and implement region-specific training curriculum focused on deal health optimization and negotiation best practices.

  • Analyzing deal trends, KPIs, and forecasts to inform leadership decisions.

What we’re looking for

  • Hold a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, or relevant field (MBA or Big 4 public accounting experience is ideal).

  • Have 6-8+ yrs of experience in Deal Desk or a similar position with extensive prior experience leading and managing teams(Saas or telecom industry is ideal)

  • Be well-versed in deal economics, commercial agreements, revenue accounting, and ASC 606, along with experience using Salesforce and CPQ (or similar quoting tools).

  • Be passionate about problem-solving, with the ability to think critically, identify root causes, and develop actionable solutions.

  • Be highly organized with the ability to juggle competing priorities and strive to support each with attention to detail and quick turn-around.

  • Team player and effective communicator with all levels of management and cross-functional team.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$126 500,00

Maximum:

$276 700,00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
