Who You Are

As a Deal Desk Advisor, you’ll be responsible for creating and reviewing commercial terms for sales orders, SaaS agreements, service agreements, statements of work, and other business to business agreements as necessary for existing and new customers. You will be a key partner for our sales team providing Salesforce, pricing, and contract support for Ontic. You will also manage post signature order processing. This is a great opportunity to join a Deal Desk team that acts as true commercial advisors within a fast-paced commercial environment.


Responsibilities

  • Create quotes for Sales, including pricing and commercial terms, based on standard templates

  • Review commercial terms for sales orders, SaaS agreements, service agreements, statements of work, restatements, amendments, and other business to business agreements, as necessary.

  • Ensure contract terms comply with the relevant business requirements (e.g., discounting or concession approvals, service terms, revenue recognition rules).

  • Develop and implement productivity improvements so function scales with business.

  • Review, validate, and process incoming orders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformity with Ontic’s commercial policies

  • Coordinate with Sales and Legal to resolve discrepancies or finalize deal structures prior to order booking

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ experience reviewing commercial terms agreements, service agreements, software license agreements, and statements of work

  • Experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise subscription-based business models

  • Power users of Salesforce; CPQ experience is a plus

  • High energy professional who is passionate about helping our sales organization close deals

  • Excellent responsiveness to internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong “win-win” negotiation skills and mindset

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with Sales, Finance, and Executive Leaders

  • Proven experience working in a high-volume contract administration department and being able to deliver
