As an integral part of our Data Management team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a comprehensive Data Management (DM) process on programs, in accordance with established Northrop Grumman Mission Systems DM practices and customer requirements; This involves the management of program generated work products.

This requisition may be filled as a Data or Principal Data Management Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Program contract review in order to determine documentation requirements for each work product and phase of the project.
  • Establish, maintain, and implement standard practices for Data Management to ensure on-time delivery of contractual data items.
  • Provide the scheduling, communication of customer data requirements, quality reviews, data status reporting, electronic/non-electronic data delivery, and archiving of Contractual Data Requirements List (CDRL) items (work products).
  • Responsible for coordinating the flow down of CDRL/work product requirements and/or management of receipt of work products to the subcontract supplier through preparation of Subcontractor Data Requirements Lists (SDRLs).
  • Working in Microsoft Office suite and learning new tools pertaining to the job function.

Basic Qualifications for Data Management Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience in Data Management or related discipline (related disciplines include Business Administration, Business Management), master’s degree with 1 year of experience. Seven (7) years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
  • U.S Citizenship required
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required prior to start
  • Knowledge/experience of program contract review in order to determine documentation requirements for each work product and phase of the project.
  • Strong organizational and detailed orientation skills required.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills along with effective presentation and computer skills are required.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of the Contractual Data Requirements List (CDRL) process and procedures are required for this position.
  • This position is contingent upon obtaining customer approval for Special Access Programs (SAP).

  • Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience in Data Management or related discipline (related disciplines include Business Administration, Business Management), master’s degree with 4 years of experience. Seven (7) years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
  • U.S Citizenship required
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required prior to start
  • Knowledge/experience of program contract review in order to determine documentation requirements for each work product and phase of the project.
  • Strong organizational and detailed orientation skills required.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills along with effective presentation and computer skills are required.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of the Contractual Data Requirements List (CDRL) process and procedures are required for this position.
  • This position is contingent upon obtaining customer approval for Special Access Programs (SAP)

Preferred Qualifications

  • A master's degree in data management or a related discipline
  • U.S Citizenship and an active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access).
  • Experience with SharePoint Administration.

This position is contingent upon the transfer of an active DOD secret clearance prior to starting

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. 

Salary Range: $68,800.00 - $103,200.00Salary Range 2: $84,600.00 - $127,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
