Database Management Intern
Mentor: Director, Revenue & Sales Operations
Location: United States, Remote (Candidates must currently reside in the United States and be authorized to work here. We are unable to consider applicants located outside the U.S. or candidates who would require current or future sponsorship at this time.)
Full Time: up to 40 hours/week
This is a twelve (12) week internship program starting in May 2026. Candidates must be enrolled in college during the internship with a graduation date after August 2026.
Position Summary
Join our team this summer and gain hands-on, real-world experience supporting our sales and marketing operations through data management and CRM optimization. As a Database Administrator Intern, you’ll work directly with our Sales Operations and Technology teams to maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance our Salesforce CRM platform—one of the core tools driving our business decisions and customer relationships.
You’ll play a key role in improving data integrity, streamlining workflows, and enabling our teams to make smarter, faster, data-driven decisions. This internship offers the opportunity to see how clean, organized, and actionable data fuels growth across a dynamic organization.
What Will You Work On? (Sample Projects)You’ll contribute to meaningful projects that make an impact. Examples include:
Data Quality & Integrity: Identify and merge duplicate records within Salesforce (contact, account, and opportunity levels) to improve accuracy and usability.
Data Enrichment: Audit Salesforce data for missing or incomplete information and use a variety of online research tools to update and validate records.
Process Automation: Assist in evaluating opportunities to streamline manual data entry through reports, validation rules, or basic automation tools within Salesforce.
Analytics & Insights: Support the development of dashboards or reports that help leadership visualize key metrics, such as sales pipeline health, lead conversion rates, or customer engagement trends.
Documentation & Best Practices: Help document data management standards and create easy-to-follow guides for users to support consistency across teams.

By the end of the internship, you will have developed valuable skills that can support future careers in sales operations, data analytics, or CRM administration:
Hands-on experience managing data in Salesforce CRM
A deeper understanding of sales and marketing operations in a corporate environment
Exposure to data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting tools
Insight into data governance, quality assurance, and system integration
Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and IT
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, analytical problem-solver who’s eager to learn and contribute in a fast-paced business environment.
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field with an expected graduation date after August 2026
Strong interest in sales operations, data management, or CRM systems
Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets; exposure to Salesforce, Power BI, or similar data tools is a plus
Excellent attention to detail and comfort working with large data sets
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proactive, curious, and eager to learn from others
Work on real projects that impact business decisions
