Altruist is entering an exciting phase, and we're looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team.
What You’ll Do
- Partner closely with the technology team to create an agile data infrastructure to support reporting, data science, and advanced analytics needs
- Work with technology teams to troubleshoot, document and debug data issues
- Perform data profiling to help create agile and versatile data warehouse infrastructure
- Participate in the selection and testing of new BI technologies, including proof of concept and comparison analysis
- Develop automated dashboards and reporting solutions; be able to automate and refine reporting dashboards for optimization
- Work closely with business partners to understand and address specific data/reporting challenges
- Create and maintain documentation that includes business requirements, design, and data schemas, and data definitions
- Support and prepare analysis for the Data Governance team
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related a field
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a related field
- Working knowledge of data warehouse development including ETL, schemas
- Highly proficiency in SQL queries; experience with Snowflake & Postgres databases a plus
- Proficient in creating dashboards, insights, interactive reports. Experience in any of these BI tools a plus: Tableau, Looker, Sisense, Superset, Power BI
- Familiarity with Product Analytics Tools a plus (Pendo, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Segment, etc.)
- Ability to develop partnerships and collaboration across the organization through effective communication, positive demeanor, and professionalism
- Must possess a high degree of attention to detail and organization
- Strong analytical, problem solving skills and ability to prioritize, and identify and resolve issues
